Plate with curved sides, straight rim, thin footring everting on the outside edge. Fired on the footring, which is unglazed. Painted on the top surface with a detailed auspicious scene of goat with long horns (symbol of 'yang'), under a pine tree (venerable old age) with rocks and bamboo, small bushes and verdant grass. On the base is the apocryphal four-character mark in a square cartouche in overglaze blue: 'Yongzheng nian zhi' (made in the Yongzheng period).
