Physical description

Garland of cotton backed with gilded and stamped paper; the front embroidered with metal embellishments and sequins. At bottom is embroidered the heraldic crest of Datia State, with lion and deer on either side of green shield with red cross, surmounted by a helmet and bird. The garland 'chain' consisting of embellished flowers and openwork links. Closed by metal-wrapped thread and tinsel ties.
