  • This is an illustration of a Hindu woman going to worship at a shrine. She carries a waterpot in one hand and a small bowl of red flowers in the other, both of which are offerings to the deity she is visiting. Her sari is a bright saffron colour which is associated with Hindu worship, and her jewellery distinguishes her as a woman of status. (March 2022)
