Object history
Purchased by W G Archer in 1932 from the artist, Kanai Lal Ghosh, a relation of Nibaran and Kali Charan Ghosh, and claimed by him to be his own work. When the pictures were acquired, he was no longer painting, the school having ended in about 1925.
