tile from a larger design with an incorporated border in cuerda seca with the design outlined in grey over a white slip on a buff earthenware body. The main field has a yellow ground decorated with stems bearing stylised flower heads and leaves in pink, green and black and white. Part of a deep blue arabesque design overlays this with an inner trail of a white line punctuated by byrquoise blue floral motifs. The border below has a dark blue ground, between pale turquoise guard stripes, on which there is an alternating pattern of rosettes in pink and turquoise with a foliate pattern in white and pale turquoise.
