Object history | This work is one of thirteen, numbered E.2968 to 80-1886, taken from a series of fifty prints. The series depicts famous places in Edo with comic accidents. Purchased from S. M. Franck & Co., accessioned in 1886. This acquisition information reflects that found in the Asia Department registers, as part of a 2022 provenance research project. |
