The top is partially lined in green silk and has shoulder pads. The green wool jersey trousers are straight cut with a welted waistband, a centre-front zip opening with two buttons and two side pockets.

This was the new colour for Saint Laurent - which subsequently became extremely popular. The stylish wool jersey two-piece was eminently wearable and was ideal for travelling. It cleverly combines comfort with the precision of tailoring and is accented by top stitched seams and bold wooden buttons.
