Physical description

Painting, opaque watercolour on paper, Rama in deep yellow dhoti and red scarf is seated on a golden throne with Sita who wears a green bodice and a dark red skirt. They lean against a large gold-coloured cushion with black sprigs. Behind them stands Lakshmana in dark blue dhoti holding a peacock feather fan. To the left squats Hanuman in red trunks, clasping Rama's foot in his hand.
