Nandikeshvara, the anthropomorphic form of Nandi and attendant of Shiva. He is bull-headed, with human body and four arms. He is dressed in royal garments and jewellery, and faces to the left. In two hands he holds the drum and antelope of Shiva, and the other two hands are in abhaya and vara hastas (symbolic positions).
