Design for Tommy Cooper in To See Such Fun, showing a full length male figure wearing a a white shirt with a high collar, the full sleeves gathered to cuffs, a dark brown bolero patterned all over with orange spots, the edges decorated with a wide border of white stripes, full Turkish trousers in dark olive green spotted randomly in yellow and white, and at the waist a wide cummerbund striped diagonally in turquoise and grey, the grey stripes overlaid with random white spots, the wide trailing ends trimmed with gold tassels, with Turkish slippers with exaggerated curling toes and an orange fez . The background is painted in grey-brown gouache. The whole is framed within a rectangle drawn in ink. The design is signed and dated and inscribed with the name of the actor.

Object history
This is one of a collection of designs for pantomime and cabaret, given to the Theatre Museum by the designer, Cynthia Tingey, who created the costumes for 15 of the annual London Palladium pantomimes. This design was made for the comedian, Tommy Cooper, in the revue, To See Such Fun, London Palladium, 26 April 1971. The production was directed by Albert J. Knight.
