Gallery label
The factory records identify the vase as having been designed in 1930 which suggests that it may have been intended for inclusion in the major Stockholm exhibition of Swedish design held that year. Vicke (Victor Emanuel) Lindstrand (1904-83) worked in ceramics, textiles and illustration as well as in glass. He designed for Orrefors from 1928-40 and then for Kosta from 1950-73
