The images are created by drawing around a person’s silhouette. Bucklow transfers the outline to foil and punctures it with thousands of pinholes. The foil is stretched over a box containing photographic paper which is exposed to the sky. Each hole focuses the sun onto the paper to create a glowing, otherworldly presence.
