This is a plaster cast of a portion of arcading showing putti, swags, heads in medallions, and other decorative motifs from the cloisters of the church of St Lanfranc in Pavia, Lombardy. The artist is unknown; the terracotta arcading was constructed in the late 15th century, as an addition to the mainly 13th century monastic buildings. The plaster cast was made by an Italian firm based in Milan.
