The hero Rama, installed as King of Ayodhya with his wife Sita as queen, receives the homage of Hanuman, and that of his three brothers; Rama with bows and arrows and Sita are seated on a low throne over-shadowed by a three-finialled umbrella of royalty, Hanuman crouches holding the left foot of the god, Lakshmana stands behind the throne with bow, sheld and murchal, and facing the king are his two older brothers, Bharata and Shatrughna with bows and shields.
