Height: 24.4 cm

Descriptive line

Wine glass (Roemer), probably Netherlands, possibly engraved by G.V. Nes, 1650-1690

Labels and date

Engraved with the Arms of William of Orange and the Seven Provinces of the Netherlands. William was not elected to the Order of the Garter until 1661. His father was elected to the Order in 1645. So, if the arms are correct, the date is more likely to read 1657 than 1687.
