Object history
This bowl and its plate (IM 101-1927) were purchased by Lord Curzon at the Exhibition of Indian Art ad Delhi, 1902-03; the maker Saya Po of Toungoo, Lower Burma was awarded the lst Prize and Gold Medal for them, in the class of niello work.
