Sample of machine woven Wilton double plush carpeting in acrylic. It has a dark red ground, half of which is covered with part of a flame-edged medallion in white, green, dark red and dark blue. The rest of the field contains a floral pattern, the main motif of which is an elongated, segmented blossom in dark blue outlined in green containing a small white flowerhead. The sides have been oversewn.
