CENTRAL ASIA (from Fathabad, near Bukhara); about 1360
From the tomb of Buyan Quli Khan, which was completely covered with such tilework. The carved stone sarcophagos in the middle of the gallery, though late in date, comes from the same building.
The inscription is from the Quran.(Used until 11/2003) |
