Qur'an stand of sycamore, overlaid with minute mosaic of coloured woods, bone and metal. Formed of two parts intersecting and hinged together, the upper part decorated on both sides and the lower on one side only, with geometric designs; the lower part is pierced on each wing with two shaped openings and is roughly painted with flowers on the inner surface.
