Sepia photographic postcard of portrait proportions, showing Joyce Roberts wearing a short white tunic dress with elbow length sleeves and a hem finished with tucking and Irish crochet. She has short curly hair and bare feet, and is seated on a corded cushion in a brocade-upholstered 'Louis Quinze' chair in Muntz's studio, in front of a backcloth painted with trees and stone steps with a balustrade. The reverse is printed in postcard format, with spaces for correspondence and address, with the photographer's name and address between.
