1. 36-page photograph album of landscape proportions, the padded boards bound with mushroom-coloured leather & fastened at the spine with metal rivets, the front cover stamped in gold with the title & the photographer's name. Each page is of cream-coloured card, with two sepia prints (from studio photographs) mounted on the obverse within a broken line ruled in pencil; a pencil inscription identifies the sitters (the reverse of each page is blank). The photographs were taken on the occasion of the Lord Mayor's Children's Ball in 1936, an annual event given for children of employees of the Corporation of the City of London from 1883 to the present day.
