1. shirt of dark green polyester/cotton, with turn-down collar, wrist-
length sleeves with self fabric cuffs, and shaped tails. The garment
has two breast patch pockets with button-down flaps, and fastens the
length of the front with buttons and stitched buttonholes. The fabric
badges stitched to the garment are: (true right sleeve) troop name
"5th Islington" in white on green, Islington badge with borough coat
of arms, Greater London (Central) badge showing Tower Bridge, and a
dark green and yellow badge depicting an animal; (true right pocket)
dark green lozenge-shaped badge showing Scout emblem and three yellow
links; (true left pocket) circular Scout Membership badge showing
Scout emblem within a noose, in white on a purple ground.
2. triangular neckerchief of grey cotton, with applied border of pink
cotton along two edges and a Maltese cross machine-embroidered at the
apex.
3, 4. woggles of plaited dark brown hide, each fastening with a press
stud.
5. slightly flared trousers of light brown unlined polyester/wool
cavalry twill, with zip-fastening fly front, inset side and back
pockets, and carriers of self fabric for a belt.
6. belt of dark brown processed leather, with adjustable buckle of
chromium-plated steel showing the Scout emblem.
7. 48-page Scout Record Book, printed in black on white paper, with a
soft cover of dark brown textured papered lettered in gold: the book
has space for recording Proficiency Badges and tasks counting toward
Scout Membership Badge, Scout Award, Pathfinder Award, etc. (partly
filled in).
8. Scout Promise/Scout Law card: rectangular card of laminated
plastic, printed in white on purple with the Scout emblem in one
corner.
