Christmas Card

ca.1942-1945 (made)

Christmas card made by the donor as a child for her mother. The card
is in single card format and landscape proportions, is made of grey
card decorated with coloured paper, and is pierced at the top and
threaded with a pendant loop of orange wool: the obverse has
alternating borders of pink and royal blue paper, and shows a snowman
between two Christmas trees beneath the words "GREETINGS TO YOU" (each
word in a different colour - green, flame and red respectively); the
reverse is inscribed in pencil "To mother FROM mary".
