Brief description
One string of facetted garnet beads with silver terminals for multiple rows, Tyrol (Austria), 1750-1799.
Physical description
Necklace consisting of a string of small facetted garnet-coloured beads attached to a two-part silver-gilt openwork clasp with a floral design. The hook of the clasp curls forward. There are 12 holes along the edge of each part of the clasp, which would originally have held 12 strings of beads.
