Vertical oval frame of rock crystal containing a case of enamelled gold. The sides of the rock crystal are pierced in four places, but the mounts they would have held are missing, as is the suspension loop from the top. The gold case in the centre has a verre églomisé painting of a bearded saint on the front, inside a border of dots and bars on a black enamelled ground. The back of the case has a similar border, but the painting is missing.
