Chalice, silver-gilt, the circular foot raised with decoration of four stamped roundels and spandrels stamped with foliage decoration soldered to the surface. Read clockwise, the roundels contain scenes of: the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Scourging of Christ and the Crucifixion. The lower and upper parts of the stem both have concealed 'necks' which fit inside the ten-lobed embossed knop. Soldered to each of the lobes on the knop is a stamped lozenge with stylised curls. The bowl of the chalice has been raised. The entire chalice has been re-gilt (except for the underside).
