Almond-shaped religious pendant of carved horn set in a silver-gilt frame. On one side is an image of the Virgin and Child between flowers, with a radiant sun above. On the other is Christ enthroned, in the robes of an Orthodox bishop, holding a book in one hand, with the other raised in blessing. At either side is a saint, described as Mary and St Nicholas, kneeling on a cloud. There are traces of an inscription in Greek characters round the edge. The frame is decorated with twisted and beaded wire, and has an oval loop attached at the top for suspension.
