Screen, wrought iron, from the church of St John, Frome, Somerset. An openwork grille comprising two side sections flanking a central section surmounted by a shield with the crest of the Leversedge family, Lords of the Manor of Frome, with the intitials 'MPL'. The two side sections with scrolling arising from differently shaped pedestals, foliage at the interstices, surmounted by scrolling and vases issuing flowers and leaves; the central section with elaborate scrolling, foliage, flowers and a bird, surmounted by elaborate scrolling and foliage, the shield flanked by palm fronds, surmounted by small shield with fleur-de-lys finial.
