Wrought iron door or chest lock, decorated with bands of open Gothic tracery in two layers; at each corner is a figure of an angel and on the hasp a figure of the Virgin Mary. The keyhole is concealed by a plate with a shield bearing three fleurs-de-lys, the royal arms of France on the key guard. The plate is further ornamented with two buttresses. The redundant bolt slot and the angel's round pegs fitted into square holes suggest subsequent alteration.
