Iron, etched and gilded chest lock and hasp. The oval-shaped front is engraved with a symmetrical design of interlacing strap work; the compartments thus formed are filled in with floral ornament and animal's heads; above the keyhole is a cherubs head between two birds, the rim is engraved with guilloche ornament. There are remains of gilding.

Physical description
Iron, etched and gilded chest lock and hasp. The oval-shaped front is engraved with a symmetrical design of interlacing strap work; the compartments thus formed are filled in with floral ornament and animal's heads; above the keyhole is a cherubs head between two birds, the rim is engraved with guilloche ornament. There are remains of gilding.
