A pair of window grilles, wrought iron. Each of rectangular form with shaped shoulders and separate semi-circular upper elements. The frame of square section and the rods of round section. The main grille with closely spaced straight elements in a diagonal pattern, with scrolled ornament at each side; the upper eleements with similar scrolled ornament.

Window grilles like these can still be seen in place in Italy, particularly in Venice. The simple but effective pattern of iron-wire trellis work in the grilles complements the more elaborate fleur-de-lys in the fanlights.
