Sharon Ting's richly coloured luxurious fabrics are produced in abstract designs using various techniques, including screen-printing, painting and devore.

Sharon Ting studied painted textiles at West Surrey College of Art and Design in Farnham from 1987-1990, and the Royal College of Art. In November 1992 Ting established her work workshop in which she creates designs for industrial production alongside a craft-based collection of wall hangings and fashion accessories.
