This ring was bought for the museum by Senor Atienza for one shilling in Murcia in 1870. The operculum shell of the bezel was probably chosen for its perceived amuletic value, rather than its decorative quality.

Silver ring, with a flat shank made from two strips soldered together which open at the shoulders to hold an operculum shell in an open, toothed setting.
