Brief description | Pair of two-colour gilded metal pendant earrings, France, 1860-1870. |
Physical description | Pair of metal pendant earrings, plated in two colours of gold. The main part is shaped like a raised pyramid made of sheet metal, pierced in floral tracery, with an open back. This hangs by three short chains from a similar smaller pyramid, attached to a curved wire. There is a stiff garland of flowers, made from stamped metal, hanging from the lower pyramid. |
