Baby's sleeveless long petticoat of white linen, with the round neck and armholes all edged with machine-made lace. The bodice has a plain back and front, and the long skirt is gathered to the bodice and finished with hand-embroidered sprays of floral cutwork, a band of machine-made lace insertion, and a deep self frill trimmed with cutwork flowers and machine-made lace edging. The garment fastens at the back of the bodice with two bound buttons and stitched buttonholes, and drawstrings at neck and waist.
