Child's bed-jacket, crocheted in cream wool with the borders delineated in ivory floss silk. The jacket has a rounded neck, and flared elbow-length magyar sleeves with open edges beneath the arm; and is flared in shape using a lacy pattern in curving lines. The borders of the garment are worked in large flat rosettes of wool, and the fastening originally consisted of tying strings of white ribbon at the neck.

Worn by Huguette Joris-Morize (b.1926) and her younger sister Marie-Claude (b.1932) (the donor), who lived in Paris. They are the children of Alice Morize (b. 1900) and her husband M. Joris (whose family came from the Ardennes region, but were originally Belgian).
