Staff with painted brass head used by members of the Friendly Society of old Westbury Somerset, (compare with M.961 and M.962-1928) The staff is a slender black painted rod, the head a flat device of a crown surmounted by an acorn and two acorn and two oak leaves with traces of painting. Measurements L.6 ft 6 inches, head height 6.6 inches7.
