Pair of gilt wood armchairs with decorative Aubusson tapestry covers. French, 1800-1900, with 18th century tapestry.
Physical description
Pair of arm chairs, French, period of Louis XVI, the frames later.
Gilt wood, with solid back and arms, the back rectangular, the front legs curved. The back and seat covered with Aubsson tapestry.
24: on the back a girl, on the seat two birds with festoons of drapery.
24a: on the back a boy, on the seat two cocks with festoons of drapery.
