Armchair with a rectangular back and serpentine top-rail. The chair's seat is square and stuffed with black horse hair. The seat frame is beech. The arms are stuffed andthe ends of the arm rests and supports are carved with acanthus foliage. The scale pattern and the lunettes on the former are later additions. The chair has cabriole legs that are carved into at the front with acanthus foliage.
