W.18-1972
Liberty & Co. was founded in Regent Street, London, in 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty. It made goods imbued with the ideals of the Aesthetic and Arts and Crafts Movements available to a wider public than the batch production of the guilds. This table was advertised in the Inexpensive Furniture catalogue of about 1905 and was also available to shoppers in the store.
