Coffer of walnut, decorated with marquetry of ebony, satinwood and holly and openwork panels covered with painted gesso; the bottom and back is of poplar. On the front are three square panels each pierced with a circular rose of tracery surrounded by a geometrical border of marquetry; each side has a similar rose without the marquetry border. The base is moulded. On the lid is a dentil band overlapping the front and side of the coffer.
