Object history
From the paper catalogue 20/03/1998:
The table has a pine carcase. Two sections on the proper right front leg and foot have been replaced. A section of the foot on the proper left back leg is also a replacement. The marble top is breche de violette.

Object was purchased for £25 from Mr. H.J. Hildyard, 152 Brompton Rd, SW3

Condition from dept file: 'Stained, worm-eaten, repaired, chipped and worn'.
