Mirror, walnut and gilt gesso, English, 1720-1740
Physical description
Mirror in frame of pine veneered with burr walnut, the enrichments in gilt gesso. The scrolled pediment terminates in carved rosettes and has a scroll escutcheon in the centre. The outer mouldings are enriched with gadrooning and the glass is surrounded by a leaf moulding.

Some gilding missing from proper left scroll pediment - needs consolidation. A broken moulding at the base needs fixing.
