'Donor states in letter of 4th June (R.P. 172/41): "My father led me to believe it came into our family through my maternal Grandfather of the name of Poachey, who was in 1850 a churchwarden at St Botolphs, Bishopsgate". This church is stated to have been rebuilt 1725-29.' (Taken from Departmental records)
