Mirror, pinewood frame with gilt gesso decoration. Rectangular in form and architecture design. The pediment consists of confronting swan-neck scrolls flanking a scrolled cartouche in the embrasure. Along the top of the frame, between abbreviated acanthus capitals, is a shell device in low relief, flanked by scrolled flower-stems. The sides are decorated with a formal design of scrolled bands in low relief and with pendants of oak leaves and acorns in the round. The base of the frame is shaped and scrolled symmetrically, decorated with a scallop-shell, flanked by scrolled foliage, and fitted with a pair of curved brass candle-holders.
