Physical description

Overmantel consisting of an oil painting of three ships at sea, signed 'P. Monamy pinx' for Peter Monamy (1670-1749), with a rectangular mirror below formed of three plates of glass. The whole ensemble is framed in a gilded wood moulding with shell device in the top corners.
