The lithographed tinplate plane has a mechanism housed under the body and a lever on the right wing. The yellow underside and grey tail are plastic. The mechanism appears to be friction drive but in this case does not function. This toy was made in Japan but bought in China.

The lever is an on/off switch connected to the mechanism but none of the positions indicated seem to make any difference. |
