Embossed gilt leather altar frontal consisting of three panels and borders all-around and between the panels. The centre panel has a medallion with the Mother and Child, and an inscription, both side panels have a pattern of floral scrollwork with in the centre a coat of arms above an eagle and a human face. The top- and bottom-borders are decorated with tassels alternating with lappets, each painted with floral devices. The borders on both sides and between the panels contain floral scrollwork. Painted in various reds, pink, green and white on a green/pale blue ground. The embossment is very light.
