The mouse is metal with the body covered with grey nylon cloth which is also used to make the ears. The tail is black plastic and the eyes printed paper. The body houses the clockwork mechanism and the key bar protrudes from the left side. The underside is grey plastic. When wound up, the mouse moves on two wheels set under the centre area and connected to the mechanism. There is a balancing knob at the back
