Armchair in carved mahogany with upholstered seat. The open back is rectangular with slightly splayed uprights and formed of a pierced design in the gothic style. The curved top rail is carved with rococo flame motifs in low relief. The open arms are of shaped design with elbows carved with foliage. The seat rail is mahogany with the original blocks. A drop-in seat is covered in modern green velvet. The cabriole front legs terminate in volute feet and the knees are carved with acanthus leaves.
